Serenity's Full Brother Wins the Warwick Gold Cup

Tom Williamson won the Warwick Gold Cup last weekend riding Serene Acres, who is a full brother to Serenity. In a local newspaper Tom says that his 5 year old son rides him at home, sounds like he is like Serenity – very good natured as well as being very talented. Lets hope Serenity grows up to be as good as his big brother!"

Doc Bird 2nd in Ladies Draft at Cudal

Doc Bird ran another 2nd in the ladies at Cudal. He is definitely earning his place on the truck this year. What a shame he is a gelding, we would love a truck full like him, especially as Lachie rides him as well.

Doc Bird 2nd by 1 pt in the Open at Condo

Doc Bird put in a couple of great rounds in the open and only just missed out on first place by 1 point. His final run he drew a tough beast and had to work really hard to put him round. He is running hot at the moment, has put his cattle around in all of his runs so far and placing in the last couple of drafts.

Serenity Places at his first draft

Serenity got 9th in the second round of the big novice draft at Warren. This is his first draft, so we are very pleased with him. He is proving to be a gentleman to take anywhere. His no fuss attitude makes him a cool customer when competing and an easy stallion to cart about. Doc Bird also got 5th in the open.

Portfolio 2nd in Open at Cowra Draft

Portfolio is one of those horses who has been so close so many times, she now has 6 2nds and numerous placings. She is very consistent. We were going to join her this year but we might give her one more season before we retire her to stud.
